3. Project Agreement

Before any work begins, a detailed project agreement will be created, outlining the scope of work, project timeline, payment schedule, and other pertinent details. 4. Payment Terms

A deposit is due prior to the start of the project to secure your spot on our schedule and cover initial costs.Progress payments are due at milestones agreed upon in the project agreement.The final payment is due upon completion of the project, once the Client is satisfied with the work.


Invoices will be provided at each payment stage, and it’s important to make payments promptly to ensure the smooth progression of your project.


5. Changes to Scope of Work

While we aim to provide an accurate estimate of work and costs at the start, changes to the scope of work may arise during the course of the project. If the Client requests any modifications or if unforeseen circumstances arise, these changes will need to be documented in writing and may result in additional costs. We will provide a revised estimate reflecting any adjustments to the scope of the project.


6. Project Timeline

Right Way Renovations will make every effort to complete the project according to the timeline specified in the project agreement. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to:


Adverse weather conditions, Material or supply chain delays, Changes requested by the Client, Permitting or inspection delays, Unforeseen site conditions


If delays occur, we will inform the Client as soon as possible and provide an updated timeline.


7. Permits and Approvals

The Client is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and approvals required for the renovation project. While Right Way Renovations may assist in coordinating with local authorities and securing permits, the Client is ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws.


8. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work and offer a warranty on the services we provide. The warranty covers defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the completion of the project. The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or normal wear and tear.


In addition, any materials used in the project may come with their own manufacturer warranties. We will assist the Client in the warranty claims process for materials if applicable.


9. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to the following responsibilities:


Provide clear and timely communication regarding project expectations and preferences.Ensure that the work area is accessible and free of obstacles. Make timely payments as outlined in the project agreement.Notify Right Way Renovations immediately of any issues, concerns, or changes to the project requirements.Comply with all local regulations and requirements.


10. Liability and Insurance

Right Way Renovations carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance to ensure that both our employees and Clients are protected during the course of the project. Our insurance covers:


Property damageInjuries that occur during the projectGeneral liability during the work


However, we cannot be held liable for damages resulting from events outside our control, such as natural disasters, accidents, or third-party interference.


11. Termination of Agreement

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. If the Client chooses to terminate the agreement before work is completed, the Client will be responsible for paying for any completed work and materials purchased up until the point of termination. A final invoice will be provided reflecting these charges. If Right Way Renovations terminates the agreement, we will ensure that the Client is only billed for work completed up to that point.


12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through amicable discussions. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be referred to mediation. Should mediation fail, the dispute may be settled through arbitration or legal proceedings in accordance with New York state law.


13. Privacy and Confidentiality

Right Way Renovations is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you provide to us will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the renovation project. We will not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to complete the project or as required by law.


14. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold Right Way Renovations harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses resulting from the Client's failure to comply with these Terms or misuse of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, claims resulting from violations of local building codes, zoning laws, or other regulations.


15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising from or related to this agreement will be resolved in the courts located in Nassau County, New York.


16. Modifications to Terms

Right Way Renovations reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Client in writing. By continuing to use our services after modifications, the Client agrees to be bound by the updated Terms.
